 Professional Experience

  • Artisan Paintworks
  • August 2006 to present
  • Owner

Achievements:  All of the pictorial examples featured within this site is work either done by me personally or orchestrated by me.  I've networked and developed a substantial client list and built Artisan from the ground up.  This past summer I ran twelve men and coordinated as many as four jobs at any given time.  I continue to build Artisan Paintworks by delivering superior quality work, maintain exceptional customer relations, and provide unpresented warranties on all my work.  These three principles are the foundation of Artisan Paintworks.

       Responsibilities:

  1. Payroll
  2. Estimating and contract delivery
  3. Material procurement
  4. Scheduling and all logistic planning
  5. Hiring and Firing
  6. Customer Relations
  7. Crew Relations
  8. Coordinate with G.C., Architect, Interior Decorators, etc...
  9. Color Consulting

  • Old Country Painting
  • July 1994 to present (on and off)
  • Sub-contractor/The companies only Foreman

Achievements:  OCP was a critical part of my training.  Here I learned alot about restoration, faux, wallpaper, plaster repair and more.  Over the years, as my skills increased, so did my responsibilites.

      Responsibilities:

  1. Crew Management
  2. Meeting Deadlines
  3. Logistic Process
  4. Material Acquisition
  5. Customer Relations
  6. Training

  •  AS A SUBCONTRACTOR, I WORKED FOR A HOST OF LOCAL PAINTERS OVER THE YEARS.  SOME WERE MORE FAUX ORIENTED, SOME MORE DRYWALL AND TAPING AND SOME JUST BASIC INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR PAINTERS.  ALL WERE IMPORTANT IN SHAPING THE PAINTER/BUSINESS MAN I AM TODAY.  I SAW A WIDE VARIETY OF GOOD IDEAS AND WHAT TO DO, AND A FAIR SHARE OF WHAT NOT TO DO.  REGARDLESS, I AM GRATEFUL TO ALL FOR HELPING TO SHAPE THE SUPERIOR CONTRACTOR I AM TODAY.  THESE FELLOW TRADESMAN ALL DESERVE A MENTION:
  1. McENROE PAINTING
  2. NEW ENGLAND PAINTING
  3. FLAWLESS PAINTING
  4. CARL & SONS PAINTING
  5. STANTON PAINTING

THANK YOU AND GOOD LUCK TO ALL...
